New Year, New Resolutions…..well, this year I thought I would have a change….instead of writing a whole list of resolutions that I would probably break by mid January I have settled upon a word for 2017…..Commitment….
Have to say that it’s nearly the middle of January and as far as my art efforts go, there hasn’t been much in the way of commitment….but I am also learning not to give myself such a hard time…
And I have finally made a start, thanks in part to Jean Haines January Challenge… three washes using blues…with a hint of violet…
Now I have just got to keep going…..

Hi Carolynn, I think not giving ourselves such a hard time is something I struggle with and have to keep reminding myself of! Commitment is an excellent word, without it we’ll achieve nothing 🙂
It’s taken me a long while to learn not to give myself a hard time and there are times I still have to work at it! I am trying to ‘commit’….it’s obviously a work in progress!
